Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Medical Science Liaison focused on Inflammation in the Pacific Northwest. The role covers WA, OR, MT, ID, WY with extensive field engagement to discuss scientific data and therapeutic value with key opinion leaders and healthcare providers.

The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead congress activities, and support sponsored or non-sponsored research efforts. Travel expectations are high to advance Amgen’s scientific platform.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master’s with 3+ years of Medical Affairs experience
• Bachelor’s with 5+ years of Medical Affairs experience
• Preferred: Pharm.D./Ph.D./M.D./D.O. with 1+ year Medical Affairs experience

Responsibilities

• Spend majority of time on peer-to-peer activities with Respiratory, GI and inflammation related to product indication expansion
• Travel 60-70% for territory management and conferences
• Engage with investigators and health systems to communicate clinical data and economic value
• Provide and present data to internal and external stakeholders in a compliant manner
• Lead or participate in congress activities and speaker training as needed
• Support research and liaise with investigators in non-sponsored studies
