Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Medical Science Liaison for the Inflammation portfolio covering WA, OR, MT, ID, WY. This field-based role requires extensive travel and close collaboration with physicians and researchers to communicate scientific data and support clinical programs.

You will develop scientific exchanges with key opinion leaders, support sponsored research, and contribute to Medical Affairs strategy across Pulmonology, Allergy, ENT, and Gastroenterology indications.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree required.
• Master's degree with 3 years of Medical Affairs experience.
• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of Medical Affairs experience.

Responsibilities

• Majority of time on peer-to-peer activities with Respiratory, Gastroenterology, and related areas.
• Travel 60-70% for territory management and attendance at conferences.
• Engage with clinical investigators and sites to support the therapeutic area pipeline.
• Communicate scientific data to PHDMs and other stakeholders.
• Lead congress activities and sponsor training as needed.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align Amgen strategies.
• Maintain compliance and update CRM records (e.g., Veeva/ALIGN).
