Qualifications

• Holds an unrestricted RN license in the state of Arizona.
• BLS CPR certification (AHA) required.
• Experience in infectious disease management is preferred.
• Familiarity with correctional healthcare policies and privacy laws.

Responsibilities

• Focusing on prevention, control, and treatment of infectious diseases.
• Implementing infection control protocols and educating patients and staff.
• Performing initial health screenings and physical assessments of newly detained individuals.
• Monitoring patient health, vital signs, and medical histories.
• Providing direct patient care, triage, and care plan development.
• Responding to emergencies and coordinating timely transport to care facilities.
• Educating patients on preventative care and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Adhering to correctional security protocols while working with officers and healthcare staff.
• Maintaining accurate medical records and reporting relevant information.
