Job summary

The GEO Group, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse, Coordinator of Infectious Disease and Quality Assurance to lead infection control activities across the facility and ensure compliance with standards.

You will plan, implement, and evaluate programs, collaborate with the health care team, and support quality improvement initiatives while maintaining patient confidentiality and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an RN license.
• Unrestricted RN license in the state where the facility is located.
• Two years of direct work experience preferred.
• Competence in crisis intervention, medical emergencies, and patient assessment.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate infection control programs across the facility.
• Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate infection control activities.
• Perform quality improvement activities in Health Services.
• Coordinate with health care team and audits.
• Ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
