Job summary

Northside Hospital Cherokee in Metro Atlanta is seeking a fellowship-trained, board-certified Infectious Disease Physician to join a growing clinical team. The role offers a balanced inpatient consultative and outpatient clinic schedule within a debt-free health system known for clinical excellence and physician support.

The selected physician will provide inpatient consultations, manage outpatient clinic patients, and collaborate with hospital specialists while contributing to infection

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Infectious Disease fellowship.
• Board Certified in Infectious Disease.
• Eligible for or licensed to practice medicine in Georgia.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive infectious disease consultation for hospitalized patients.
• Manage and treat patients in an outpatient infectious disease clinic setting.
• Collaborate with medical and surgical specialists across the hospital.
• Participate in infection prevention, antimicrobial stewardship, and quality initiatives.
• Maintain high standards of clinical excellence and patient-centered care.
• Comfortable building outpatient clinic volume.
