Qualifications

• MD or DO with accredited residency and board certification in Infectious Diseases.
• AAHIVM certification is desirable.
• Minimum 3 years of HIV/AIDS care experience in diverse settings.
• Experience in nonprofit healthcare environment desirable.
• Maryland medical license and Federal DEA license are required.

Responsibilities

• Teamwork: Direct the organization on Infectious Disease issues and serve as CBHS' primary clinical consultant.
• Communication: Keep staff updated on HIV guidelines and trials; represent CBHS to communities.
• Medical Care: Apply the Care Model to patient care, monitor labs, document histories, and ensure cost-effective treatment.
