Job summary

Tal Healthcare seeks an Infectious Disease Physician to deliver comprehensive care for HIV/AIDS and hepatitis, with emphasis on underserved populations and program development. You will lead patient care, contribute to research, and advance community health initiatives.

The role requires MD/DO, board certification in Infectious Disease, and strong experience in HIV/hepatitis management, with opportunities for telemedicine and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in the relevant state.
• Board certification or eligibility in Infectious Disease and Internal Medicine.
• AAHIVM HIV Specialist credentials required.
• DEA registration and controlled substance certification.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of clinical experience in HIV, hepatitis, or infectious disease medicine.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage HIV/AIDS and hepatitis patients, including co-infections.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans per guidelines.
• Monitor viral suppression and liver function, medication adherence, and response.
• Provide preventive care including PrEP, PEP, STI screening, vaccinations, and harm reduction.
• Collaborate with hepatologists, pharmacists, behavioral health providers, and social workers.
