Job summary

Global Medical Staffing is seeking physicians for a rotating 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off schedule in California. You will cover inpatient services, including transplant and high-volume ICU/pediatric cases, across two hospital locations with weekend commitments.

There is optional outpatient hospice coverage and weekend 24hr call with rounding. Competitive compensation includes pre-paid travel and housing, plus malpractice coverage and licensing assistance.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient coverage across two hospital locations on weekends
• General ID service: 10‑15 patients per day with 5‑10 consults
• Optional weekend coverage – 24hr call with ~5hrs rounding Saturday & Sunday
• Transplant service: 10‑12 patients – weekend coverage only
• Optional outpatient hospice – 5‑6 sessions per week (4‑5 hrs each)
• High volume ICU and autoimmune pediatric cases
• Hospital privileges required
