Job summary

Global Medical Staffing is seeking healthcare professionals for a dynamic role in California. The position involves a rotating 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off schedule with regular weekdays 8 am to 6 pm, covering general ID, transplant, and optional hospice services.

Expect weekend 24-hour call with rounding, inpatient coverage across two hospital locations, and exposure to ICU and autoimmune pediatric cases. Hospital privileges are required.

Responsibilities

• General ID service: 10-15 patients per day with 5-10 consults.
• Rotating 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off schedule – weekdays 8 am - 6 pm.
• Optional weekend coverage – 24hr call with ~5hrs rounding Saturday & Sunday.
• Transplant service: 10 - 12 patients – weekend coverage only.
• Inpatient setting – coverage across two hospital locations on weekends.
• Optional outpatient hospice – 5 - 6 sessions per week (4 - 5 hrs each).
• High volume of ICU and autoimmune pediatric cases.
