WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, WV, is actively recruiting an Infectious Disease physician to join our dynamic medical team. The role offers a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient ID care with a 4-day clinic schedule rotating biweekly and a 7-on/7-off inpatient rotation.
The successful candidate will have an MD or DO, WV license and DEA registration, BE/BC in infectious diseases, and completed residency in Internal Medicine plus Infectious Diseases fellowship.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree required.
- WV state medical license and DEA registration upon hire.
- BE/BC in infectious diseases.
- Completed Internal Medicine Residency and infectious diseases fellowship.
Responsibilities
- Clinical responsibilities include a mix of ID inpatient and outpatient care.
- 4-day clinic schedule rotating biweekly.
- 7 on / 7 off inpatient schedule.
- APP support available.
- Areas of focus include health care epidemiology, musculoskeletal infections, HIV/AIDS, hepatitis B/C, antimicrobial stewardship, transplant ID, OPAT, and COpAT.
