Job description

Position Summary

West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Medicine seek an Infectious Diseases physician (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will practice in Morgantown, WV.

Duties

• Practice adult Infectious Diseases, including inpatient, outpatient, and telehealth services.
• Provide excellent patient care and be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Participate in scholarly activities and support the ID Division's fellowship program with a 100% board-pass rate.

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or foreign equivalent; eligible for a state medical license.
• Completed an Internal Medicine residency and an Infectious Diseases fellowship program.
• Board certified or eligible in Infectious Diseases; all qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Schedule

Scheduled weekly hours: 40.

Shift: exempt/Non-exempt (United States of America: Exempt).
