Job summary

Allegheny Health Network seeks a pharmacist with PGY1 residency or equivalent clinical experience to join our clinical pharmacy team. You will provide pharmaceutical care, review drug histories, and support treatment optimization.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Residency (PGY1) or 4 years of demonstrated clinical experience.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Registered Pharmacist in PA or eligible to obtain licensure within 120 days.

Responsibilities

• Provides pharmaceutical care in the specialty practice area including drug history review, therapy recommendations, drug information, literature evaluation, rounding with medical services, drug therapy monitoring, and patient counseling.
• Plans, implements, and measures clinical processes to improve outcomes while minimizing adverse drug events; coordinates DUEs and analyzes data for action by committees.
• Coaches and develops clinical staff, overseeing training of Pharmacists, residents, students, and healthcare providers.
