Job summary

KOPA, Inc. is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for the Avante at Melbourne facility in Florida. The NP will diagnose, treat, and educate while overseeing advanced practice nursing staff and ensuring high-quality patient care in a specialized infection-control setting.

Responsibilities include exams, ordering tests, designing treatments, prescribing medications, and mentoring nursing staff; travel to other Florida facilities may be required for coverage and onboarding.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid nurse practitioner license.
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in a skilled nursing facility.
• Experience in primary, acute and chronic care.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients and medical records.
• Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays).
• Diagnose health conditions and illnesses.
• Prescribe medications and treatments.
• Lead team meetings and supervise NPs.
• Onboard and train new NPs.
• Coordinate care with facility leadership and other clinicians.
