Job summary

ExcelliSearch, Inc. is seeking a Medical Director specializing in Infectious Disease to lead outpatient care in a San Francisco clinic. The physician will provide comprehensive primary care, manage a daily patient load, supervise mid-level providers, and ensure timely documentation.

The role requires an MD or DO with an active medical license, valid DEA and furnishing license, and outpatient experience. The position offers a robust benefits package and relocation support as needed.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with an active medical license in the relevant state
• Valid DEA registration and Furnishing license required
• Outpatient primary care experience required
• Ability to manage 14-18 patients daily in a supported environment
• Active CPR/BLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and meet productivity standards.
• Supervise mid-level providers (PAs and NPs) and perform chart reviews or audits as required.
• Complete documentation on the day of visit or within 72 hours with accurate coding.
• Deliver comprehensive primary care for chronic and acute conditions and coordinate with care teams.
• Assist with scheduling, patient retention efforts, and after-hours on-call coverage.
