Job summary

Healthcare Center Wellness Clinic in San Francisco, CA, seeks a Medical Director (Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Infectious Disease) for our outpatient facility. You will join a fully staffed, mission-driven team dedicated to serving the local community.

The physician will provide high-quality care, meet productivity standards, and collaborate with the care team to support patient well-being. 4 hours of protected admin time weekly.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with an active license.
• Valid DEA registration and Furnishing License.
• Outpatient primary care experience required.
• Ability to manage 14-18 patients daily in a supported environment.
• Active CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and meet productivity standards.
• Collaborate with care team to support patient well-being.
• Oversee scheduling to minimize no-shows and meet targets.
• Complete documentation same day or within 72 hours with accurate billing codes.
• Deliver primary care for chronic and acute conditions.
• Supervise mid-level providers and perform chart reviews when required.
