Healthcare Center Wellness Clinic in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Medical Director with an Infectious Disease(a Family Practice/Internal Medicine) background to lead outpatient clinical operations in a physician-led team.

The role emphasizes high-quality patient care, adherence to productivity benchmarks, and collaboration with front desk, nursing staff, and care coordinators. Current MD/DO, board certification preferred, and active licenses required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with an active medical license.
• Board certification in infectious disease preferred.
• Outpatient care experience and ability to see 14–18 patients daily.
• Valid DEA and Furnishing license.
• CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and meet productivity standards.
• Supervise mid-level providers and coordinate with care team.
• Complete documentation and accurate E&M coding within required timeframes.
• Manage patient scheduling to minimize no-shows and meet daily targets.
• Deliver primary care for chronic and acute conditions in an outpatient setting.
