Job summary

Our Healthcare Center Wellness Clinic in San Francisco, CA seeks a Medical Director (Infectious Disease Physician) for an outpatient facility. Join a fully staffed, mission-driven team dedicated to serving the local community.

You’ll oversee clinical care with no nights or weekends required and support patient retention efforts. The role requires an MD or DO with active license, board certification preferred, and the ability to manage 14–18 patients daily in a supported environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with active medical license.
• Outpatient primary care experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and meet productivity standards.
• Collaborate with care team to support patient well-being.
• Supervise mid-level providers and perform chart reviews if required.
• Deliver primary care services for chronic and acute conditions.
• Complete documentation on the visit or within 72 hours, including proper E/M codes.
• Manage scheduling to minimize no-shows and meet productivity benchmarks.
