Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC seeks a Medical Director (Infectious Disease) for our outpatient facility in St. Augustine, FL. You will join a fully staffed, mission-driven team delivering high-quality care in a patient-centered setting.

The role requires an MD/DO with active license, DEA & Furnishing license, and outpatient primary care experience. Expect 14–18 patients per day with no night or weekend shifts, plus a robust benefits package and sign-on/bonus options.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with active license to practice.
• Outpatient primary care experience required.
• Able to manage 14–18 patients daily.
• Active CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality outpatient care and meet productivity targets.
• Oversee patient scheduling to minimize no-shows and meet productivity benchmarks.
• Document the visit the same day or within 72 hours with accurate E/M coding.
• Supervise mid-level providers (PAs and NPs) and assist with audits.
• Deliver primary care for chronic and acute conditions and manage urgent care needs.
• Review reports, imaging, and lab results promptly.
• Support patient retention efforts and coordination with care teams.
• Provide after-hours on-call coverage as assigned.
