Job summary

Aiken Regional Medical Centers in Aiken, SC is recruiting a BC/BE Internal Medicine & Infectious Disease physician. This position includes outpatient primary care and infectious disease inpatient consults.

Approximately 50% infectious disease care and 50% internal medicine / primary care, with a collegial team of physicians, APPs, and MAs in a Cerner EMR environment and potential academic involvement.

Qualifications

• BC/BE Internal Medicine & Infectious Disease required or board-eligible.
• Active SC license and DEA or ability to obtain.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive internal medicine and infectious disease care in a community setting.
• Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage a broad range of infectious diseases and internal medicine conditions.
• Provide preventative care including well visits and health education.
