Job summary

Spartanburg Medical Center in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a full-time Infectious Disease physician to join the Center for Infectious Disease. The ID team currently includes 4 BC ID physicians and 1 PA, with a hybrid inpatient and outpatient model featuring half-day clinics.

The position emphasizes continuity of care, a dedicated care team, and outpatient services including a Ryan White clinic, travel medicine, and primary care for Ryan White patients.

Qualifications

• BC/BE Infectious Disease physician is required.
• Hybrid inpatient/outpatient role with half-day clinics.
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Join a group of 4 BC Infectious Disease physicians and 1 PA.
• Provide hybrid inpatient & outpatient care with continuity of care for own patients.
• Participate in 1:5 weekday and weekend call split among providers.
• Support outpatient services including Ryan White clinic, travel medicine, and outpatient consultations.

Spartanburg Medical Center (SMC) located in Spartanburg, SC is seeking to hire a FULL-TIME BC/BE Infectious Disease physician to become part of the SMC – Center for Infectious Disease.The ID physician will join a group of 4 BC Infectious Disease physicians and 1 PA.

Highlights of the position include:

• Hybrid inpatient & outpatient position with half day clinics
• Providers maintain continuity of care by following their own patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings
• Dedicated inpatient and outpatient wound care team, infectious disease pharmacists, nutritionist, and mental health counselor embedded into the program
• Outpatient services to include:
  • Well established Ryan White clinic
  • Travel medicine
  • Outpatient consultations
  • Primary care for Ryan White patients
• 1:5 weekday and weekend call, split evenly amongst the providers
• EPIC EMR system
• PLSF approved institution
• Compensation package including:
  • $6,000 CME allowance and 30 days time off per year
