Job summary

Aiken Regional Medical Centers in Aiken, SC seeks BC/BE Family Medicine physician for outpatient practice with a faculty role in FM residency or Transitional Year. The position is employed with Aiken Physicians Alliance and includes a teaching component for residents.

Emphasis is on outpatient care, with no inpatient or hospital call, and participation in a collegial team of physicians, APPs and MAs. Cerner EMR is used across clinics, with a generous compensation package and benefits.

Qualifications

• BC/BE Family Medicine
• Active SC license and DEA or ability to obtain
• Clean professional background
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Compassionate bedside manner

Responsibilities

• Support ARMC's mission of delivering high quality, compassionate care to the community of Aiken and surrounding area
• Practice comprehensive family medical care in a community setting
• Provide preventative care including well visits, screenings, and health education
• Diagnose, treat and manage conditions ranging from common illnesses to chronic disease
• Serve as core or teaching faculty educating and precepting FM residents or Transitional Year
