Aiken Regional Medical Centers in Aiken, SC is recruiting a BC/BE Internal Medicine & Infectious Disease physician. This position will include outpatient primary care and infectious disease inpatient consults.

Join a collegial team of physicians, APPs, and MAs with a 50/50 split between outpatient care and inpatient ID rounds. Cerner EMR in use; IM residency program – preference for candidates looking for academics.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/board-eligible in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease.
• Active, clear South Carolina license and DEA or ability to obtain.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to team-based care, teaching, and outpatient practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive internal medicine and infectious disease care in a community setting.
• Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage a broad range of infectious diseases and internal medicine conditions.
• Provide preventative care including well visits, screenings, and health education.
• Manage acute and chronic conditions, including infection prevention, treatment planning, and follow-up care.
