Job summary
UConn Health in Farmington, CT seeks an Infectious Disease/Gastroenterology Clinical Coordinator to lead, develop, and coordinate outpatient pharmacy therapies including PrEP and complex GI/MTM services. The pharmacist will work within Outpatient Pavilion clinics with Pharmacy Services and Specialty Pharmacy Liaisons.

Qualifications
- Pharmacotherapy and related clinical knowledge for specialty care.
- Experience with ambulatory/specialty pharmacy practice.
- License to practice as a Registered Pharmacist in Connecticut.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and develop pharmacy students; oversee non-dispensing aspects of the service.
- Support drug information activities and disseminate relevant information to staff.
- Evaluate new references and provide clinical leadership to optimize pharmacy services.
- Review literature and prepare monographs for formulary considerations.
- Develop and implement policies for formulary and clinical activities; assess program needs.
- Participate in drug shortage management and committees; coordinate education sessions.
- Coordinate seminars and continuing education for staff; support drug utilization reviews.
- Serve as a preceptor for pharmacy residents.
- Provide pharmacy services as needed.
