Job summary

Claremore Skilled Nursing & Therapy is seeking an Infection Preventionist to apply data, systems, and education to prevent and control infections across Oklahoma facilities. The role focuses on surveillance, analysis, and education to reduce transmission.

You will work with multiple Directors of Nursing in long-term care settings, require a current Oklahoma nursing license, and have at least two years in infection prevention.

Qualifications

• Current and unencumbered Oklahoma RN or LPN license.
• Minimum 2 years infection prevention and control experience.
• Experience in skilled nursing / long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identifies infectious disease processes.
• Surveillance and epidemiologic investigation.
• Prevention and control of the transmission of infectious agents.
• Conducts educational activities to ensure adoption of infection control practices.
• Supports multiple Directors of Nursing in Long Term Care facilities throughout Oklahoma.
