Job summary
Midlothian Health & Rehab Center seeks a compassionate Infection Preventionist for a full-time role in our skilled nursing facility. You will oversee the infection prevention program, ensure compliance with federal/state/local standards, and guide staff training and surveillance initiatives.
The RN must hold an active license, CPR/BLS certification, and complete infection prevention training. We offer on-site work with Monday–Friday day shifts and a competitive hourly wage of $45–$50.
Qualifications
- Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
- Maintain an active CPR or BLS certification.
- Be qualified by education, training or experience to meet job requirements.
- Must have completed specialized infection prevention and control training.
- Basic computer skills and ability to navigate EHR and LMS software.
Responsibilities
- Oversee infection prevention and control program across the facility.
- Develop training plans and materials; evaluate training efficacy.
- Monitor compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
- Identify training needs based on surveillance and outcomes.
