Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN required or background in health-related field.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in New Jersey.
• CBIC Certification required upon hire or transfer.
• Minimum four years of acute care/public health or related clinical experience.
• Two years of epidemiology and infection control experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify, investigate, report, prevent, and control HAIs across facilities.
• Lead or facilitate infection prevention initiatives and programs.
• Mentor colleagues in infection prevention practices and APIC standards.
• Design surveillance processes and validate external reporting.
