Job summary

Linden Court is seeking a full-time Staff Development / Infection Prevention Nurse (RN) to lead training and infection control across the facility. You will mentor staff, coordinate development programs, and ensure high-quality resident care with proactive outbreak prevention measures.

You will oversee audits, maintain documentation, and collaborate with department leaders to provide resources and education. Weekend/on-call coverage may be required as part of clinical leadership.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with CPR certification.
• Experience in training, education, staff development, or infection prevention preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, high personal integrity, a caring attitude, and a positive professional presence.
• A passion for mentoring, teaching, and developing others.
• Ability to stay organized, build relationships, and lead with confidence.

Responsibilities

• Orient and train new employees, provide ongoing education, coaching, and on-the-spot training.
• Coordinate required staff development programs and competency training.
• Complete audits, maintain documentation, and follow up on opportunities for improvement.
• Lead infection prevention efforts by monitoring for potential concerns, coordinating outbreak response, and providing education and tracking.
