Job summary

Linden Court is hiring a Staff Development / Infection Prevention Nurse to educate and mentor our care team. The RN will orient new staff, coordinate education, and lead infection prevention initiatives across the facility.

You will partner with leaders to ensure teams have knowledge and resources, participate in weekend on-call rotations, and provide clinical leadership in the absence of the Director of Nursing. Join a caring, team-focused environment at Linden Court.

Qualifications

Current RN license with CPR certification.
Experience in training, staff development or infection prevention preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication, high integrity and caring attitude.
Passion for mentoring, teaching and developing others.
Ability to stay organized, build relationships and lead with confidence.

Responsibilities

Orient and train new employees, provide ongoing education, coaching and on-the-spot training.
Coordinate required staff development programs and competency training.
Complete audits, maintain documentation and follow up on opportunities for improvement.
Lead infection prevention efforts, education, tracking and follow-up for teams.
Assist department leaders, participate in on-call rotation including weekends, provide leadership in absence of the DON.
