Job summary

Majestic Care is seeking an Infection Prevention Staff Development Nurse (IPSD) to lead infection control and staff development across the community. The role includes clinical orientation, training delivery, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities cover infection data analysis, competency assessments, and collaboration with HR, DNS, and care teams to maintain high-quality resident care. Schedule is Mon-Fri with On-Call weekend rotation; licensure in nursing required.

Qualifications

• Must have active RN or LPN license in state employed.
• Certification in CPR is required.
• Prior infection control training and experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate infection prevention and staff development programs.
• Ensure documentation for training and compliance is complete.
• Coordinate with HR and DNS on competency assessments and training.
• Provide hands-on clinical orientation and instruction to nursing staff and CNAs.
