Springside Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a Full-Time Staff Development Coordinator/Infection Preventionist to join our leadership team in Pittsfield, MA. The role combines staff education and infection prevention responsibilities to support quality resident care.

Qualified candidates will hold MA RN or LPN licensure, CPR certification, and have experience in long-term care with strong communication and organizational skills.

Competenze

• Massachusetts RN or LPN license is required.
• Current CPR certification
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience
• At least one year of long-term care/skilled nursing experience
• Experience with staff education, supervision, and training
• Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills
• Infection prevention experience is a plus

Mansioni

• Coordinate and lead staff orientation, onboarding, and ongoing education programs
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations
• Monitor and oversee infection prevention and control practices throughout the facility
• Track and manage infection surveillance and testing programs
• Collaborate with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams to promote quality resident care
• Identify educational opportunities to improve clinical outcomes and regulatory compliance
• Provide support, coaching, and mentorship to nursing staff
• Assist with quality improvement initiatives and survey readiness efforts
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff, residents, and families
