Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking an Infection Control Coordinator to lead the planning and execution of infection prevention activities across the facility. You will coordinate surveillance, provide guidance on risk management, and ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.

The role requires RN licensure with a preference for CIC certification and 3–5 years of healthcare experience. The position is hybrid, with the work location at 81 Highland Avenue, and a 40-hour work week during

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with state licensure preferred
• CIC Certification preferred or prepared to sit for CIC within 2 years of hire
• 3–5 years of clinical healthcare experience required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate infection control activities and plan surveillance efforts.
• Provide guidance and consultation for risk management and infection prevention.
• Develop annual surveillance plans based on populations served and services provided.
• Implement NHSN and non-NHSN surveillance, outbreak detection, and reporting.
• Educate hospital personnel on infection prevention practices.
• Collaborate with Occupational Health to assess and mitigate infection risks.
