Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Public Health, or related field.
• 5–7 years in infection control, public health, or related field; 3–5 years in leadership.
• Strong knowledge of CDC, OSHA, and Joint Commission guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage infection control programs and procedures per regulatory standards (CDC/OSHA/Joint Commission).
• Collect, analyze, and interpret infection data to identify outbreaks and improvement areas; report findings to leadership.
• Lead and mentor infection preventionists, providing coaching and performance evaluations.
• Design and deliver staff training on infection prevention to ensure compliance with protocols.
• Collaborate with clinical leaders and quality teams to integrate infection control with quality improvement.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and prepare for inspections, audits, and surveys.
• Investigate outbreaks, develop action plans, and implement control measures.
• Support ongoing quality improvement and adoption of best practices.
