Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in a healthcare field.
• RN license in the State where practice occurs (or multistate licensure).
• CIC certification preferred for acute settings; exam within 36 months (full-time) / 48 months (part-time).
• CDC Infection Prevention course (for post-acute setting) required.

Responsibilities

• Work with infection prevention staff to meet program goals.
• Monitor infection control trends and educate employees.
• Collect/analyze data; research support and project work.
