Job summary

Majestic Care in Terre Haute, IN is seeking an Infection Prevention Staff Development Nurse (IPSD) to lead infection control and staff education across our care teams. You will assess needs, develop training programs, and coordinate orientation for new hires.

You will conduct hands-on clinical orientation, CPR training, and OSHA/Risk management oversight while ensuring compliance and quality patient care within the LTC setting.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Indiana.
• Two years nursing experience with infection control training preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure care team training compliance with conduct policies.
• Document training per state, federal and compliance rules.
• Develop and deliver clinical orientation for new staff.
• Provide hands-on orientation to licensed and unlicensed staff.
• Coordinate CPR and OSHA/Risk management training.
• Assess resident needs to design appropriate training.
• Support nursing staff through competency evaluations.
