Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing required.
• CPR certification required or obtained during orientation.
• Specialized IPC training beyond initial education preferred.
• Geriatrics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Healthcare Associated Infections (HAI) and Community Acquired Infections (CAI).
• Collect, prepare, and analyze HAI data; present findings with recommendations.
• Educate staff, residents, and families on infection prevention.
• Serve as IPC resource for all departments and personnel.
• Maintain compliance with regulations and Life Care standards.
• Develop and maintain Antibiotic Stewardship Program responsibility.
