Lifepoint Health is seeking an Educator and Infection Preventionist (RN) at Community North Rehabilitation Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. This part-time, day-shift role focuses on education program development and infection control leadership.

The RN Educator/IPC will lead the annual Infection Control Plan, coordinate staff training, and monitor infection data to reduce nosocomial risk. Requires BSN and active RN license, with 2+ years bedside experience, CPR/BCLS; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Develops and oversees education programs for clinical staff.
• Evaluates and updates Infection Control Plan with leadership input.
• Communicates effectively with teams to improve infection prevention outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of education programs.
• Develops annual hospital-wide Infection Control Plan and reports findings to leadership.
• Performs plan of care interventions including medication administration and clinical treatments.
• Identifies infection sources and develops actions to prevent nosocomial infections.
• Monitors outbreaks and coordinates control measures with hospital personnel.
