Job summary
South Shore Rehabilitation is seeking an Infection Prevention Coordinator to reduce the incidence and transmission of infections among residents, staff, visitors, and the community. Qualifications
- Experience in infection prevention or epidemiology.
- Familiarity with nursing care facilities regulatory guidelines.
- Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and drive safety initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and monitor annual infection prevention goals and action plans.
- Collaborate with facility leadership and external agencies on infection prevention activities.
- Oversee infection prevention programs, epidemiology, industrial hygiene, and safety.
- Participate in national collaboratives and report to CDC NHSN and quality organizations.
- Provide staff and volunteer education on infection control and outbreak response.
