SGMC Health in Lakeland, GA is seeking an Infection Control Nurse to lead surveillance and prevention efforts. The role reports to the Director of Quality and supports the Infection Prevention Committee, with responsibilities across education and policy implementation.

Qualifications include RN licensure in Georgia or ASCP certification, plus at least 5 years in hospital or acute care settings. The position is full-time, daytime hours with potential weekend or night coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or accredited Medical Technologist program.
• Current RN licensure with Georgia Board of Nursing or ASCP certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide surveillance, prevention and control of infections.
• Perform reporting, education and consultation as part of Infection Prevention.
• Support the Infection Prevention Committee and Director of Quality.
