The role requires a Bachelor's in a healthcare-related field, 2 years of infection prevention in acute care, and AHA BLS with CIC within 2 years. Candidates with 3–5 years in acute care are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Healthcare related field; Masters preferred.
• 2 years of infection prevention experience in an acute care setting required.
• 3–5 years experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• AHA BLS; CIC within 2 years in the role.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate the infection control program in the hospital.
• Implement and enforce IP program policies and coordinate prevention activities.
• Monitor effectiveness of prevention/interventions and regulatory compliance.
• Education staff, patients, visitors as needed; budget planning and staff management.
