Job summary

Arbors at Streetsboro is seeking a Staff Development and Infection Control RN to coordinate Infection Prevention and provide total nursing care for residents. The role includes supervision of clinical staff related to Infection Prevention and Control Program, with daily responsibilities in data analysis and education.

The position requires a Nursing degree, a valid state license, and at least two years of nursing experience with Infection Control training.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited School of Nursing.
• Valid license in the state employed.
• Two years of nursing experience preferred with training in Infection Control.

Responsibilities

• Collect infection data and trends for nursing staff and practitioners.
• Consult on infection risk assessment, prevention, and control strategies.
• Provide education and training; implement evidence-based infection control practices per regulatory guidelines.
• Oversee surveillance system elements: definitions, tools, rounds, at-risk residents, surveillance outcomes, data analysis, and feedback.
