Spring Meadows Health & Rehabilitation in Clarksville, TN is seeking a Staff Development / Infection Control Nurse to plan, coordinate, and oversee staff education while leading the facility’s infection prevention program.

The role ensures compliance with CMS, CDC, and state regulations, promotes resident safety, and supports continuous improvement through education and proper documentation. Full-time with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Formación

• Current, active LPN or RN license.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care preferred.
• Knowledge of infection control standards and regulatory requirements.
• Strong teaching, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to educate and motivate staff across all departments.
• Proficiency in documentation and data tracking.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, coordinate, and deliver orientation programs for all new hires.
• Develop, implement, and track ongoing in-service education and annual competencies.
• Maintain accurate education and competency records in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Assess staff learning needs and provide targeted training to address performance gaps.
• Support clinical skill development and evidence-based practice.
• Assist leadership with corrective education plans as needed.
• Develop, implement, and oversee the facility’s Infection Prevention and Control Program.
• Monitor, track, and report infections per CDC, CMS, and state guidelines.
• Educate staff, residents, and families on infection prevention practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage outbreaks and exposure events.
• Maintain accurate infection control logs and reports.
