CareOne in Southbury, CT is hiring an Infection Control Nurse to plan and direct our infection control program in accordance with federal, state and local standards. The role focuses on maintaining a safe, compliant facility and protecting residents and staff.
You will conduct rounds, educate staff, monitor practices, and respond to outbreaks as part of the Infection Control Committee. A nursing degree and clinical experience are required, with APIC certification preferred.

Salary Range: $50,000 - $70,000 per year

The primary purpose of the Infection Control Nurse is to plan, organize, develop, coordinate, and direct our infection control program and its activities in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern such programs, and as may be directed by the Administrator and the Infection Control Committee to ensure that an effective infection control program is maintained at all times.
