Job summary

Oregon Child Development Coalition (OCDC) is a statewide nonprofit delivering Head Start and early learning programs across Oregon. We seek an educator to ensure the safety, health, and development of infants and toddlers in a developmentally appropriate setting.

The role involves planning culturally responsive curricula, maintaining a safe classroom, and partnering with families. You will work with parents and specialists to promote child progress and participate in family engagement activities.

Qualifications

• Infant/toddler care and development knowledge.
• Ability to implement developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Experience collaborating with families and professionals.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, health, and development of infants and toddlers.
• Plan and implement culturally responsive curriculum aligned with Head Start standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and specialists to support each child’s development.
• Conduct home visits and parent-teacher conferences to discuss progress.
