Job summary

Oregon Child Development Coalition (OCDC) seeks an Infant/Toddler Teacher to support safety, health and development in a culturally responsive program. You will plan developmentally aligned curricula and collaborate with parents to foster learning in a supportive classroom.

Responsibilities include screenings, observations, family engagement, and staff guidance. The role requires a strong commitment to early childhood development and adherence to licensing standards across Oregon.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with CDA in Infant/Toddler development.
• One year Oregon community college certificate in ECE or related coursework.
• Bachelor's degree not required; relevant certificates accepted.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, health and development of infants and toddlers in a nurturing environment.
• Plan and implement culturally responsive curriculum aligned with standards.
• Maintain safe, clean, and engaging classroom; supervise children at all times.
• Conduct developmental screenings, observations, assessments, and learning plans.
• Collaborate with parents and specialists to support child development.
• Conduct home visits and parent-teacher conferences to discuss progress.
• Provide guidance and direction to classroom staff and volunteers.
• Maintain documentation and program records; participate in meetings and trainings.
