Job summary

Head Start Chico is seeking an IT Teacher I-III to deliver high-quality early childhood education in a center setting. You will support a diverse group of infants and toddlers, mentor staff and volunteers, and ensure compliance with program policies and regulatory standards.

You will collaborate with families to promote child development, conduct screenings, and participate in ongoing professional development and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Leadership and collaboration within a teaching team.
• Ability to implement developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Experience supporting infants/t toddlers and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide developmentally appropriate early childhood education in a center-based program.
• Support assistants and volunteers and guide classroom activities.
• Conduct family conferences and share child progress with families.
• Ensure health and safety standards compliant with Head Start regulations.
• Maintain portfolios and conduct screenings/assessments.
• Engage parents and involve them in education and learning activities.
