Job summary

Stanislaus County Office of Education in Modesto, CA seeks an Infant/Toddler Educator for Early Head Start to support planning and implementing a full-year child development program for infants and toddlers.

Under supervision of the Master Teacher, you will help create a nurturing classroom, complete required paperwork, and ensure compliance with licensing and immunization requirements. This is a full-time, 8-hour day position with benefits and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• California Child Development Associate Teacher Permit or higher level permit (Attach copy from ctc.ca.gov)
• Three units infant/toddler care development required (Attach college transcripts)
• Valid Pediatric CPR/First Aid Certification. (Attach copy of front & back of the card - Online classes not accepted) EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Graduation from high school required. One year experience in an early childhood setting preferred. Enrollment in Associates or Bachelor's degree program in child development or related field preferred.
