Job summary

Kidango is seeking a Teacher Aide for Infant/Toddler classrooms. You will support the teaching team in safe caregiving, implement age-appropriate learning experiences, and help nurture social-emotional, physical, cognitive and language development for children birth to 36 months.

You will work closely with Center Director and teachers to ensure health, safety, and well-being, while maintaining positive relationships with families and staff.

Qualifications

• GED/HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with young children preferred.
• Immunization records compliant with SB 792 requirements.
• At least 6 ECE units completed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, preparing and implementing daily programs.
• Assist in planning and preparing the learning environment and materials.
• Maintain a clean, safe classroom and assist with health and safety duties.
• Communicate with families as directed by a supervisor.
• Support development of social, emotional, language and cognitive skills.
