Job summary

Kidango is seeking a Teacher Aide for Infant/Toddler classrooms to support the teaching team in providing a safe, nurturing environment for children birth to 36 months.

Under the Center Director, you will assist with daily caregiving routines, implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences, and help build secure relationships that support social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development.

Qualifications

• Requires experience working with young children or in a child care setting.
• Candidate should meet licensing health and safety requirements.
• Immunization records compliant with SB 792 (measles, pertussis, influenza).

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, preparing and implementing daily programs.
• Help plan and prepare the learning environment and materials.
• Maintain a clean, safe classroom and assist with health and safety.
• Communicate with families as directed by supervisor and collaborate with staff.
• Supervise children actively during activities, meals, rest, and transitions.
• Support a positive, responsive relationship with each child and families.
• Assist in inclusive practices and individualized plans as needed.
• Attend meetings, trainings and professional development activities.
