Celebree School in Sterling, VA is seeking an Infant/Toddler Teacher to shape early development in a nurturing setting. You will support infants and toddlers with age-appropriate activities, aligning with our curriculum and guiding aides in early childhood education.

You will maintain a safe, clean classroom, complete paperwork and reports, and ensure interactions reflect Celebree’s values. Strong communication and licensing knowledge are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Lead teacher qualifications approved by the state agency.
• Knowledge of child development and licensing requirements.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Navigate the day's activities with infants, offering guidance and support as they begin to explore.
• Manage the Infant classroom to ensure compliance with Office of Child Care regulations, company policies, and procedures.
• Provide a welcoming and safe classroom environment for children, parents, and visitors.
• Create and implement comprehensive, timely lesson plans that are age-appropriate and engaging in line with Celebree’s infant curriculum.
• Ensure the classroom is safe, clean, and inviting to foster curiosity.
• Accurately complete all paperwork, electronic reports, supervision records, and attendance tracking.

• Must meet the requirements to be a lead teacher as approved by the governing State agency.
• This position requires comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the behavioral and developmental stages of children and knowledge of childcare licensing requirements
• The ability to manage a classroom, including strong organizational, communication (verbal and written), and problem-solving skills. patience, flexibility.
