Job summary

Celebree School is hiring an Infant/Toddler Teacher to shape early development in a nurturing, developmentally appropriate setting, fostering growth and exploration. You will support infants and toddlers with age-appropriate activities while aligning with Celebree’s vision, mission, and values.

You will mentor classroom Aides and help guide new staff into the world of early childhood education with patience and compassion.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead a classroom in compliance with state childcare regulations.
• Knowledge of developmental stages in infants and toddlers and licensing requirements.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Navigate daily activities with infants and provide gentle guidance.
• Manage the infant classroom complying with regulations and company standards.
• Create a welcoming classroom environment for children, parents, and visitors.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate, stimulating lesson plans.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and inviting space for curiosity to flourish.
• Accurately complete paperwork, electronic reports, supervision records, and attendance tracking.

Responsibilities

As an Infant/Toddler Teacher, you will be given the tools, resources, and training to:

• Navigate the day's activities alongside our infants, offering gentle guidance and support as they navigate their first steps.
• Manage the Infant classroom ensuring compliance with all Office of Child Care regulations, company standards, policies, and procedures.
• Provide a welcoming and friendly classroom environment for all children, parents, and visitors.
• Create and implement thorough, timely lesson plans that are age-appropriate and stimulating in accordance with Celebree’s infant curriculum
• Ensure the classroom is a safe, clean, and inviting space where curiosity can flourish.
• Accurately complete all paperwork, electronic reports, supervision records, and attendance tracking

Qualifications

• Must meet the requirements to be a lead teacher as approved by the governing State agency.
• This position requires comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the behavioral and developmental stages of children and knowledge of childcare licensing requirements
• The ability to manage a classroom, including strong organizational, communication (verbal and written), and problem-solving skills. patience, flexibility.
